Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to carry pistols into an operation. Some players utilize this slot to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the extra pistol as a gap closer. If you are using this slot, you need to remember that you will have to click the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, to select them. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it placed in.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled item slot is an amazing feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped as a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot smuggled by smugglers from other slots for gear.
The smuggle slot can hold an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in hidden places around the map. They can also be found anytime. Smuggled items differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that allows players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This allows players to design the perfect mission for each task.
Gear Slot
Early on in the game players will find their gear slots rapidly get full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from picking new equipment until the old ones are removed or space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide an increase in inventory space to complete challenges missions. Because many of these challenges are overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take some time to obtain the maximum number inventory slots available in the game.
Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.
Agency pick-ups
As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit in your concealed slot for gear or weapon and then retrieve it later.
These pickups can be very useful in situations where your job requires you to go through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could cause suspicion. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.
This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, walk to the mission marker and spot a group when you arrive.
